Supports and reviews activities of… Show more JOB SUMMARYReporting to the Finance Director of the Public Services Department, assumes a full range of accounting responsibilities for preparation of budgets and financial reports to the department and division managers. Assists in preparing the department and division budget and capital improvement schedules, accounting for fixed assets and disposition of assets, and determining the financial performance of enterprise and internal service funds. Supports and reviews activities of other staff to ensure completeness and accuracy of information. Serves as a resource for the Golf Advisory Board. Prepares schedules presented to independent auditors. Coordinates monthly and yearly accounting and documentation for internal work performed for a variety of service and capital projects for the entire department. Prepares monthly and yearly closing account entries. Analyzes the financial performance of enterprise / internal service funds and develops rates and financial strategies. Show less
