Improved the efficiency of the sub-assembly of a medical device by designing a rework fixture that rapidly disassembles partially completed components. Improved the ergonomics of the assembly process by designing a tool to remove an assembly tool. Designed a transfer fixture for a high volume component that ensures no parts become lost or damaged during relocation from the manufacturing process to assembly process. Created manufacturing instructions for top level assembly of a device subcomponent. Refined a two part resin process for a test method validation and documented steps in a graphical aid. Helped Conduct 510(k) predicate device comparison testing using porcine tissue. Incorporated Design For Everything principles in all projects. Worked closely with automation to ensure efficiency of automated processes.
