Hello, my name is Bryce Macomber and I am a Junior in the Integrated Business and Engineering Honors Program at Lehigh University. I am pursuing a dual degree in Financial Engineering and Industrial & Systems Engineering from the P.C. Rosin College of Engineering.Throughout my time at Lehigh I have worked hard to maintain a 3.75 cumulative GPA, while remaining an active participant in clubs, and upholding a prominent role in the Greek community on campus. I am a resourceful, intrinsically motivated student, who works best in fast-paced environments with demanding deadlines. My extreme attention to detail and propensity to complete tasks effectively and efficiently sparked my original interest to declare as a Finance major. However, my analytical thinking abilities and attention to patterns and trends encouraged me to pursue an Industrial & Systems Engineering degree, as well as a place in the IBE honors program. I have always been interested in the relationship between risk and return in investments, and financial consequences associated with decision making. My experiences thus far have primarily dealt with portfolio management, both quantitative and qualitative financial statement analysis, and capital budgeting decisions. In my next few years at Lehigh, I hope to continue with similar practices, while also pursuing research opportunities for incorporating stochastic and optimization models into financial and economic markets.
