Commenced as a Technician-in-Training in 1955 in Brisbane. After completion of 5 years technical training, employed as Technician, Senior Technician in South East Queensland, 1962 saw me returning to the Training School as an Instructor at Chermside and New Farm Training Schools. During this time I returned to evening studies to complete my matriculation, and in 1962 was given a Trainee Engineer's position to allow me to further my tertiary study in Electrical Engineering at the Queensland Institute of Technology. I graduated in 1969. I returned to The Queensland University of Technology as an evening Lecturer for 4 years.Appointed to Engineer positions in Brisbane and was further promoted in Headquarter" Melbourne Office.In 1976, I left Engineering and moved to new managerial positions created as District Manager. First in Roma till 1979, I Rockhampton till 1985, Brisbane North and South, then as Asst. General Manager till 1989.At this time, I was asked to take up a position in Telstra International as Executive General Advisor in Saudi Arabia, which I enjoyed till 1994.In 1995, I worked for 18 months as Technical expert for legal personal involved with "Causalities of Telstra", involving Court settlement between Telstra and the customer.In 1996, retiring from Telstra, and after 3 months, I returned to Saudi Arabia to work as Project Manager for Norconsult International. I retired in 2000.
