I directed three youth theater programs, and was the permanent substitute director for a fourth.In "Field Mice" I worked with 1st and 2nd graders using improvisation and art to put together an original musical which we would perform at the end of each term.In "Split Hares" I worked with 1st through 6th graders to put up a travelling show that I myself wrote and/or adapted.In "Sprouts" I worked with pre-k and kindergarten aged children, and used storybooks, art, music, and games to teach basic acting priciples, culminating in a performance for the parents.I was the point man for all communications with parents-- through email, telephone or otherwise-- in all three of the aforementioned programs.As the permanent sub for "Horsin' Around", I would fill in for the other instructors as necessary, teaching improvisation to middle school and high school aged students.

Over the course of my time at ImprovBoston I have worn many hats. As an improv actor or "improviser" I've performed in ImprovBoston's Mainstage Show, National Touring Company, and Family Show; as well as countless showcase and limited-engagement shows. I've also performed in several sketch shows and original musicals. As an instructor, I have taught levels 101 and 201 in the improv curriculum, directed birthday party workshops, taught improv comedy to youth of various ages in our vacation camps, and run interactive anti-bullying workshops at schools across New England. As a director, I have directed ImprovBoston's Family Show, a sketch review, and the Studio 40 improv team, "Big Gulp."
