I started Richter Scale Rings because I felt there weren't any options for interesting men's wedding bands. I make men's ring in precious and alternative metals, meticulously crafted in nontraditional styles.

I stepped aside as machine shop lead for personal reasons, but have stayed with the company to continue assisting where I can.My responsibilities include much of what I was doing before including but not limited to--Work closely with R&D to effectively bring new products to market. -Aid engineering with development and design of new components.-Create G-code programs for new parts with various CAM systems, or manually.-Create CAD (SolidWorks) models & engineering drawings to be used for manufacturing.-Develop new manufacturing processes as needed for production of new parts.-Design and fabricate tooling, fixtures, and jigs to facilitate manufacture of production parts.-Train new machine shop employees according to standard operating procedures.

-Made frequent recommendations to improve processes to save time and improve efficiency.-Machined parts to tolerance from engineering drawings.-Program, setup, and run CNC machinery.-Set up and operate manual milling machines, lathes, and fabrication equipment.-Proficient TIG welding of Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum.-Maintained, repaired or rebuild machinery and tooling as needed.
