As a part of Master of Arts in Teaching program at Western Michigan University, I was placed at Comstock High School to teach World History for an entire school year. Here I quickly took on full responsibilities of a full-time educator including teaching, lesson planning, grading, attending professional development meetings, etc. Most importantly, I gained experience in fostering strong, positive relationships with my students.

- Required very strong organizational skills - maintained 30,000 cubic square feet of materials in both online and physical storage systems.- Interacted with patrons from the public, identified and met their needs and requests. - Helped train and inform new student-employee hires about our systems.- Worked with University curators to complete long-lasting projects.- Adhered to a confidentiality agreement.- Used mechanical lifts on a daily basis to reach areas up to 40 feet above ground.- Held a lead role in transporting and organization thousands of rare materials between library settings.- Created and maintained small displays/exhibits at Waldo Library.
