Research assistant for Dr. Eric Jones, an archaeology professor on campus. Transcribed census data from the mid-1800s onto a spreadsheet where we then used to create GIS maps. Data included agricultural information from individuals in upstate New York during the 19th century to see changes over time caused by the transition of privately owned farms to commercialized agriculture.
