Glass & Company (now part of Crowe, LLP) is a full-service public accounting firm with clients ranging in size from startups to $100+ million in revenue. As an audit partner, I focused on providing our clients with attestation and consulting services and assisting them with their tax compliance and planning needs. I also provided litigation consulting, business valuation and forensic accounting services to attorneys and clients.

As Director of Client Services, I provided Fortune 500 clients with management consulting services concentrating primarily on SOX 404 implementations, internal audit, information technology, supply chain, financial planning and analysis and financial reporting.

I served as the senior finance executive at Convio as the Company grew from approximately 50 employees to 150+. During my tenure at Convio, we more than doubled revenue and our customer base each year and we raised over $37 million in outside venture funding. In 2004, Convio was ranked first on the Austin Business Journal's fastest growing companies in its size category and was listed in Red Herring's Top 100 Private Companies in America. My responsibilities included overseeing all accounting and finance operations, as well as legal, administrative staff and human resources.

As CFO of this $12 million software and services company, my responsibilities included overseeing all accounting and finance functions, as well as human resources, IT, legal and administration. During my tenure, we raised $3 million in capital from outside investors, hired a new accounting team and restructured all accounting and finance functions.

I was the 13th employee and the senior financial executive for this venture-backed start-up. During my time there, we raised $12 million in capital from investors in the form of preferred stock and senior debt and grew the company to approximately 50 employees.

At Ernst & Young, I focused on high-tech, software and manufacturing clients in Austin, TX. While at Ernst & Young, I served as the Senior Manager on the Vignette IPO in 1999 and worked on other SEC clients as well as startups.

My team focused on special projects related to new products, acquisition target valuations and supporting the financial operations of the retail business.
