Provide application support and delivery of change for the Banks multi-currency, high-value payments/Dealing/Foreign Exchange system which is a vendor provided package with in-house written interfaces and reporting. As a team leader, I setup, recruited and ran (including hands-on) new 24x7 application support team. This involved packaged software, industry/regulatory reporting as well as in-house analysis and design/development, people management/development, on-call (after-hours) support, Estimating, Workload Management, and Resourcing including performance management.

Provided database administration support. Started in DB2 and moved to Oracle and SQL Server.

Setup and co-ordinated the shrink-wrapped application support for 13 systems throughout the bank under an IT Governance mandate. This involved requirements gathering as well as vendor management.
