In excess of 25 years focussed on the ever changing Wireless Technology and Backhaul market has given me a wealth of expertise in everything Wireless. I'm passionate about the potential these technologies can offer not just the mobile market, but enterprise, utility, financial, blue and amber light services, pretty much any market where communications are needed.Among my core skill set is being able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff and customers. I am able to translate ideas in a clear, articulate and easy to digest format. Having worked with many of the major Telecommunications organisations, including British Telecom, Highways England's National Road Telecommunications Service, France Telecom, and many others, my ability to become the trusted technical advisor has been a great way to build relationships and move projects forward successfully and in a collaborative manner.I am passionate about continuous improvement, recently undertaking study in Software Defined Networks, and obtaining certification from the ONF. The new world of virtualisation and abstraction, and in particular the focus on Open Source led by initiatives such as the Telecom Infra Project, is a great inspiration to me.I am dedicated to providing the best possible service for customers to exceed their expectations. I very much enjoy the investigative process within pre-sales and working with R&D, product management and software development teams to devise and deliver a solution in line with strict deadlines and the highest quality standards. From a leadership perspective, I ensure those under my management are motivated, proactively engaged in their role and in receipt of the support they need in order to perform effectively. Consequently, the benefits are felt by the individual, the team, the wider organisation and, of course, the customer.
