I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) in partnership with the University of Glasgow, passionate about implementing theoretical knowledge with practical experience to drive innovation and efficiency. With a strong foundation in mechanical design, my expertise spans across SolidWorks, ANSYS, and MATLAB, complemented by hands-on experience in 3D printing and robotics.During my internship at Flex, I developed my skills in the assembly and troubleshooting of industrial 3D printers and health aid drones, this ensured production quality and efficiency. My educational journey has been enriched by a Diploma in Mechatronics from Temasek Polytechnic, where I partnered with the Harbin Institute of Technology Robotics Group (HRG) to complete my final year project and gained valuable experience in practical robotics applications. I successfully programmed a food-serving robot to be used at one of the cafeterias at Temasek Polytechnic.For the James Dyson Award, my team at SIT designed and built AUTOBOX, an automated food/parcel receiver. This project aimed to streamline the delivery process, showcasing our ability to innovate and work collaboratively on complex engineering challenges. Results are pending.In addition to my academic and professional experience, I served as a platoon sergeant during my National Service. This role equipped me with leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to make critical decisions in high-stress environments. These experiences have enhanced my ability to thrive in diverse and challenging settings.Passionate about innovation, I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to real-world challenges, continuously learning and growing in the dynamic field of mechanical engineering.
