Unlike my two siblings that took full-time positions at our family company, I chose the tough route to graduate college and chase my dream in the power industry.Being so familiar with structural design from having a job reading prints to fabricate pieces for projects like Denver buildings has made a significant impact on why I now choose to do the electrical design as the engineer. I know what it takes to make designs that can easily be interpreted and implemented into a project. I also know how to communicate well with other in solving problems that might occur over the design. Another reason I want to be in the power industry is because renewable energy will be a major portion of the worlds power supply, and having a role of reducing carbon emissions while creating this new environment-friendly era would make my life fulfilling. I love devoting my time to school where I design circuits, program, and focus in power systems because one day I would like to say I am the best at what I do.I also want to include my deep interest in the automotive industry. As is helps sustain our planet and already out performs most motor vehicles this would be an incredible industry to be involved in.My strong work ethic and ability to solve problems speaks for me. Last summer I was a offered a job only because of what the employer seen me accomplish. Since the pandemic ruined the opportunity to get an internship, I started my own, unofficial landscaping business for my neighbors and family members. I generated full weeks worth of work doing jobs like removing trees, laying rock, and pouring concrete. With enough connections I found myself working through an actual landscaping company being paid to use my own equipment, truck, and trailer. For the rest of the summer I worked jobs under contract excavating and redesigning new landscapes for churches, golf courses, and entire neighborhoods.
