Designed a robotic manufacturing machine to semi-automatically install a soft foam grip on a lawn mower handle. The design was projected to improve installation time by 28%. I worked on a team comprised of 4 students, a University Professor, and representatives from the end customer. We prepared and presented all research findings, design concepts, and experimental data, along with the final design and Bill of Materials to the customer and Industry Professionals.
