The duties of this job consist of routine JSEA, pre and post trip truck and trailer inspections.Safely driving loaded and empty tanker trucks of various sizes, makes/models, and configurations.Securing each load by hooking and unhooking hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading.Safely filling tanks of all types and sizes using various size hoses, nozzles, and fittings,also safely using pipe wrenches, crescent wrenches, hammers, and other hand tools. Accurately complete driver logs, invoices, and other paperwork as required as well as working with bosses, dispatchers, fellow employees, and customers.

Adhere to company policies including pertaining to safety as well as promoting good housekeeping. Assigned task convert entire fleet from paper logs to electronic logs, applying the correct codes for each product. Provide exceptional customer service with shippers, drivers, dock pickups, etc to minimize shipping delays. Perform daily routine inspections on forklifts such as checking the oil and coolant levels pre/post shift. Run diagnostics on forklift weighing system for distributing weight precisely for each load. Wear appropriate PPE personal protective equipment such as cold safety gloves and safety glasses for fastening/unfastening propane tanks. All freight loaded on racks or exceeding 5 feet must be strapped.

Converting entire fleet from paper logs to electronic logs.Work with shippers to minimize delays.Handle hazardous materials by using the correct devices.Adhere to company safety policies.Secure freight for transport using correct tools and devices.

Participate in all safety meetings concerning new DOT regulations and company updates. Monitor all incoming and outgoing shipments (quality of packaging, production and etc.). Keep accurate records of staged materials for inventory and inspections. Assisted with resolving discrepancies with customers and fellow drivers regarding invoiced, packing slips, and receiver reports. Review all paperwork to assess data entry on delivery coordinates for turn by turns. Provide daily inspections on company vehicle to continue delivery operations. Measuring tire pressure/tread for compliance with DOT regulations as well as engine fluids, turn signals and brake lights. Fluent in Microsoft programs utilizing hand held scanner sufficiently for deliveries. Provided training for new hires to ensure completion of operations in numerous areas FedEx delivery standards. Adjusted complaints formally and informally on new hires performances.

Coordinated inventory of materials and parts to maintain a comfortable supply. Organize placement of new part numbers, stock records, bin locations, order quantities and parts association. Performed purchasing function for warehouse inventory and low-value expensed parts as assigned. Perform pre/post inspections on all company vehicles (pickups, flatbeds and dump trucks) also delivery support. Confirm oil, fluids, brake systems, turn signals and tire pressure is functional. Maintain equipment log tracking operations and employee check outs. Schedule mechanical repairs on dump trucks (pto). Coordinate storage task for engineering, maintenance, turn-around and capital materials. Provide support to incoming shipments, receipt and purchase-order documents to facilitate invoice payment. Optimize warehouse space for equipment and materials.
