I am a third-year student at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, majoring in Finance and Marketing. I am passionate about using creativity to positively impact the community around me, and demonstrated these passions in various fields. My love for math and numbers, and my ability to accel in these classes throughout high school fueled my obsession with understanding the financial system, and the countless applications for it. I found a passion for marketing when I created a self-owned video company, filming and producing for various people in the community doing work ranging from birthday party montages to music videos, ultimately making over $1,000 in one year. Finally, I first became interested in the power of spreading a positive message at 12 years old when I raised over $10,000 for childhood cancer research by shaving my head in front of a crowd, for an event called Saint Baldricks. Now, as a student at Indiana University, I plan to optimize the plentiful resources available to me and use my time here to the fullest extent. I plan to expand on my professional and personal leadership and growth and gain a more complete understanding of how I will succeed in my career. I am currently a member of BLI, the Business Leadership Initiative through the Hillel Center. This experience allows me to meet and converse with various industry leaders, and gain insight on how they were successful in their respective fields. Furthermore, I enjoy playing soccer and basketball with friends, and spend my free time brainstorming ideas for new innovations. In the future, I will continue to strive for success and sharpen my skills in investing, project management, and sales. I look forward to gaining an internship at an asset management firm and gaining insight and experience on the day-to-day aspects of money management. Furthermore, I see myself pursuing a career where I am able to innovate and grow myself and the company I am at.
