During my time in the United States Navy, I was awarded the 'Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal' for my portfolio of over 7,000 photos during our deployment to the Persian Gulf from October 20th, 2014 to June 25th, 2015 during the rise of ISIS following the massacre of Charlie Hebdo and his staff. I was responsible for managing the USS MILIUS' FaceBook page, uploading thousands of photos during this deployment for the families and friends of my shipmates. Over the course of 300 personal hours, I also filmed, edited, rendered, and distributed a CruiseBook DVD highlighting the areas of my ship's deployment for my 307 crewmembers to share with their families and friends.
