I've been learning about customer service for nearly ten years at Smith's Food & Drug. All the years of bagging groceries, returning shopping carts, and helping customers find what they're looking for have given me a great deal of experience in giving a positive customer experience, which is absolutely necessary for today's market, even if it's something as simple as smiling to a customer after helping her find a can of chicken noodle soup.I've had a lot to learn at the University of Utah. Through my business classes, I have a basic understanding of accounting and finances, and I have learned to use Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access after taking a Computer Essentials class in the spring of 2018. In the spring 2019 semester, I had taken a Business & Professional Communications class to help gain confidence in professional communications, including a mock business interview and speaking on presentations. In the spring 2022 semester, I had engaged in a lengthy 20-minute presentation about comparing the finances between Ford and Tesla, and my main responsibility in that group was analyzing the 10-K and 10-Q statements of each company to help make a forecast for their future income statements.Right now, I'm looking for a career in analyzing data, so I can crunch numbers into a digestible report. Between my existing job at Smith's Food & Drug and my classes at the University of Utah, I have shown great problem-solving skills and leadership skills. I am very confident in my ability to aid your company.
