My primary responsibilities as a personal banker included running teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, etc…), handling customer service issues, hitting personal goals (so the branch can hit or exceed our branch goals) and opening personal and business checking and savings account. In addition I took applications for loan products (credit cards, mortgages, home equity loans/lines, etc…) and discussed which loan or banking products would be the best fit for a customer. I also made sure that I was aware of and knowledgeable about the current specials and promotions that the bank is offering to better help current and potential customers. This job also required me to keep daily trackers and retain customers who were contemplating leaving the bank.
