I am a Biliteracy Specialist with 10 years of experience in developing, implementing and tracking individualized, standards-aligned learning in a dual language setting with a diverse range of learners. My work in education comes from a place of passion and advocacy of students' educational rights. As a Latina and first-generation Mexican-American of indigenous descent, I am firmly rooted in the fight for equity and access to rich, historically accurate education for all. I have various creative skillsets and thrive when working in a collaborative, task-oriented environment. Community and compassion are at the heart of how I try to navigate life and are absolutely the lens through which I see my professional, as well as artistic, endeavors. When I'm not working on my professional goals, you can find me chasing powder on my snowboard or finding the nearest natural hot spring!
