My core values below are the framework I use to make decisions and how to approach my life and career. I continually reflect on how to provide the most value while being the most fulfilled. These core values have proven beneficial in guiding me. Progress is my top value. I will never stop pushing to improve myself and my value to others. But progress isn’t sustainable how most people do it. I’ve structured my environment to consistently make progress on the things I care about. I consistently show up and do the things I need to do. That includes my career, which still has many decades ahead. To remain sustainable over time, there has to be some flexibility in exactly how and what we work on during (and outside of) our careers. Everyone should have life outside of work. That’s what keeps our productivity and creativity sustainable. There are seasons of life and career. Some are more intense in career, others put more focus on personal improvement/education, and many put a lens on belonging or family/friends.
