CS PhD from the University of Waterloo. Research in design and analysis of algorithms, including data structures (binary search trees, priority queues) and graph algorithms. Before graduate school I worked on business intelligence on the Xbox One launch team and after the first year of my PhD I interned as a database engineer on the F1 database system at Google. I joined RideOS (now gopuff) in 2021 as a software engineer on their optimization team. I am now tech lead of that team. ICPC World Finalist from North Central North America region (1st/273 in 2014 regional).
