Implemented SilverStripe content management system (CMS) for Spark to use as a foundation for all new websites. This enabled Spark to provide its clients a marketing leading open source CMS with advanced functionality and focus on building websites rather than maintaining their ageing in-house CMS.Designed, developed and project managed the redevelopment of the Non Government Schools website - the leading industry superannuation fund for the education sector. The site features over 100 pages, flash calculator and video to provide members with easy to access and informative information. After launch the site was reported by Investor Daily and the Financial Review as a cutting edge superannuation website.

Responsible for day to day technical operation of the business, and for maintaining and developing new features to the core application which provides consumers with property information direct to their mobile phones.Implemented a mobile website product that enabled the business to offer this new product to clients all over australia. Major clients include Realestateview.com.au, Raine & Horne, Stockdale & Leggo, Elders, Ray White and Hodges.Negotiated and maintained partner relationships with the major Australian real estate portals and franchises to obtain property data.

Managed the Sydney Production Centre (team consisting of 20 people) work flow, resource allocation, communication and systems to facilitate the development of website and back office tools. In addition, establish and maintain the ownership of the customer from project start to end requiring setting expectations, establishing a relationships, collecting content and being the main point of contact for the client at all times.Implemented open source defect tracking and change management system named Mantis; which was used by developers, designers, support staff and account managers to enter and track defects, enhancement requests, website builds and change requests.Implemented Subversion that allowed developers and designers store all data to a centralised secure repository, to recover older versions of data, or examine the history of how data changed.Project manager for homehound.com.au Priority Listing Tool project which allows agents to check the availability of bookings for a location, place bookings, provides access to reports and audit trail and account information and billing historyLead team to diagnose and improve performance issues of PropertiesOnline application. It was a concentrated four week effort and led to a drastic performance improvement. The results - queries that took over 120 seconds to complete, took under 15 seconds.

I was responsible for the ongoing development and operation of the in-house developed Telco billing platform. 75% of my role was hands-on focusing on SQL billing database and related applications developed using Visual Basic .NET.DBA for SQL Server serving 2 remote locations and 3 Microsoft SQL servers. Responsibilities include daily maintenance review, SQL optimisation, disaster recovery planning and testing and custom software database installation support. Fluent in stored procedures and complex queries.Designed and developed a .NET application which enabled simple operation of billing, rating, pricing, and end of month tasks that previously required an experienced DBA. The outcome was streamlined; error free billing that staff used to perform the billing tasks and reduced the time taken to perform these tasks from 2 days to 4 hours.Negotiated and was responsible for the rollout of Voice Over IP (VoIP) phone system. This resulted in a huge cost saving from moving away from unused lease lines, and expensive STD calls. In addition, the Avaya solution enabled the IT group to maintain a state of the art phone system, which provided voicemail features, ACD to route calls to agents and screen based phones to enable end users to work more efficiently.Designed and developed OfficeStream, a patented plug in for Microsoft Outlook that enabled user to send multimedia, multi mode messages through their email client.

My responsibilities within Rockend Technology were varied, and while my role as Software developer for their flagship product REST Professional was my primary position, I was also actively leading the improvement of the internal systems and integrating disparate business applications.Implemented a new CRM system built on FrontRange Solutions HEAT 6, was responsible for defining the requirements and specifications used as a basis for building the application, as well as authoring comprehensive training material. Functions of the system included help desk management, sales force automation, logistics, and product administration. I delivered classroom training sessions to all staff.Implemented a product licensing application to relive the large number of inbound and outbound telephone calls required every month. The solution enabled staff to focus on resolving support issue. Incoming calls were reduced by half after deployment.

I produced a consistent and compelling design, while adhering to accessibility guidelines without compromising creativity. Macromedia Flash was used to create compelling animations, including an introductory presentation and screen saver for both the Windows and Macintosh platforms.The website surpassed the expectations of South East Health, and overall has contributed to the huge success of World AIDS Days. The far-reaching campaign has produced a high number of hits on the site. The screen saver has been installed on over1500 computers within South East Health, and the interactive quiz has helped raise awareness of HIV/AIDS.

The position responsibilities revolved around telephone technical support for the users of Solution 6’s account based products. In preparation for this role, I undertook intense internal customer service training and subsequent on-going training in all taxation, account and technical support.
