Consulting with project management teams across the company to facilitate, maximize, and sustain change initiatives. My Gene Counsel develops patient-friendly methods of educating patients and families about genetics, gene-mutations, and the results of a diagnosis. Responsibilities included synthesizing information regarding specific genetic mutations into diagrams and case studies to aid in counseling and informing affected parties.

First ever intern for TeamTelligent, a talent management startup company. Worked directly with Lisa-Marie Hanson, Chief Learning and Marketing Officer, and Garrick Throckmorton, Chief Product and Services Officer. Observed talent management certification seminars, lead association outreach organization, and oversaw the development of marketing strategies for TeamTelligent’s talent management.

Assisted in dance instruction for patients in UAB’s Adolescent Psychiatric Ward. Also led movement therapy for adult chemotherapy patients at UAB’s Kirklin Clinic.
