About Bryna Gamson
As a middle child, I was born to be a networker, one who makes connections with people and ideas across boundaries. I found my philosophical home when, as a new parent, I discovered Adlerian Psychology and the work of Rudolf Dreikurs (author of Children: The Challenge). After several years teaching Adler/Dreikurs childrearing methods to others, I applied this knowledge in my career at the Alfred Adler Institute of Chicago/Adler School of Professional Psychology (now Adler University), and continue to do so in current work with NASAP and other nonprofits. My greatest strength is communications, deployed to educate and persuade, especially in support of nonprofit organizations. I have created visually engaging brochure and PR copy and ads, fundraising appeals, political campaign materials, web pages, newsletters and grant proposals. In addition, I have contributed to strategic and organizational planning of numerous organizations.Whether serving as staff or volunteer, consultant, elected official, board founder or committee member, I pour energy and enthusiasm into select causes matching my convictions. Apart from my family, nothing gives me greater satisfaction than to be able to contribute to my community. It's been a lifelong pleasure to be able to employ my skill at networking and communicating value to help good causes succeed.
Listed skills include Grant Writing, Nonprofits, Editing, Newsletters, and 12 others.
