Managed the preparation and establishment of Tónlistarmiðstöð, an Icelandic Music Center that combines music export, support for the domestic music industry and a comprehensive sheet music library.

Future Leaders: Keychange announces a new 2022 cohort of 76 artist and innovator participants from 12 countries to lead global movement for gender equality in musicThe innovative year-long talent development programme provides women and gender minority participants with the skills and opportunities they need to progress to the next stage in their career. Today Keychange, the pioneering international initiative for gender equality in the music industry, welcomes 76 new faces to its 2022 talent development programme. Selected by industry and export experts as future leaders, the new cohort of artists and music industry professionals from 12 different countries will take part in a year-long programme, following an open call that received 590 applications.

Designed and taught the course Project Management in Music, as well as writing a textbook for the course.

Responsible for overall planning, project assignment and follow-up, financial planning and team management as well as keeping an overview of all ongoing projects and activities. Initiated and project managed Record in Iceland, which received the Export Award in 2021. Iceland Music was the primary export office for Icelandic music, aimed at facilitating the growth and development of the Icelandic music industry and promoting Icelandic music, musicians and composers in markets abroad. Iceland Music became a part of the new Tónlistarmiðstöð (Music Center) when it launched in the fall of 2023.

Viltu Business? started as an event in English that aimed at introducing the different possibilities available to entrepreneurs in Iceland. We are a team of two who developed the concept and managed it from idea to event. The first event was held in the fall of 2014. The concept expanded and now includes an online community offering advice and information for current and aspiring entrepreneurs in Iceland. Our partners included Innovation Center Iceland, RANNÍS, Karolina fund, The Directorate of Labor and Startup Iceland.

Main responsibilities included Priority Account Planning and Reporting and coordination of Assessment of Service Quality (customer satisfaction survey). Many of my tasks included international coordination and communication.
