Conducting a program evaluation of the Oregon Office of Community Dispute Resolution (OOCDR). The OOCDR is responsible for 16 Community Dispute Resolution (CDR) programs across the state of Oregon. The goal of the program evaluation is to ensure that the OOCDR is fulfilling its responsibility of dispersing the state budget appropriately, supporting the CDR's in every way possible, and that the OOCDR is vital to continuing the implementation of CDR programs.

I helped recruit students for the Conflict and Dispute Resolution Graduate Program at the University of Oregon School of Law. This included emailing and calling prospective students, answering any questions regarding the program, scheduling appointments and tours, and preparing future students for the program. In this internship I researched the University of Oregon's gender equity hall, as well as other universities' gender neutral or gender inclusive community halls throughout the mainland United States. Along with conducting my own research, I met with current students, staff, faculty, and assessed the work that had already been done on this campus with the gender equity hall. I researched and attended various meetings throughout the term to help with my research.

I worked with individuals and families in the community who are interested in becoming a member of the YWCA. This included showing them the facility, going over the benefits, explaining pricing and the options for discounts. I worked with people of all ages, genders and nationalities.

I helped customer's troubleshoot equipment, warranty and payment problems. I processed warranty claims and other forms of payment (credit card, check, cash). It was a daily routine to contact approximately 20-30 clients, both residential and corporations. Along with the day-to-day tasks, I helped with other forms of service as needed.

I worked with four co-workers to help make Carpenter Hall home to first-year students. This was done through creating door decorations, bulletin boards and programs (educational, community, alcohol awareness, etc.).

Coordinated and facilitated the waterfront and boating front on Lake Niobe along with the boating activities at Lake Florence by scheduling lifeguards, programming events and water activities.Other responsibilities included: driving the 12-person van, responding accordingly in emergencies, facilitating activities that require a 21-year-old or lifeguard and help where it is needed.

Coordinate the final presentation of a Senior Capstone Project for the Public Relations program at Drake University. Create a presentation for our client Communities In Schools Iowa along with a public relations campaign.
