I am a curious researcher and writer who enjoys imagining new ways to approach questions and problems impacting health. My goal is to do work that will result in people having more control and choice in regards to their bodies and health care decision making in the United States. By gaining a master of public health, I acquired valuable knowledge about policy making processes and the current status of sexual and reproductive health in the United States. I have used my research and communication skills to successfully advocate for a state bill negatively impacting the rights and health of pregnant people to be changed. As a researcher study coordinator, I learned about processes through which more treatment options are discovered and approved. My work in two major New York City hospitals provided me with firsthand knowledge on how to better to assist patients in navigating the health care system. Currently seeking opportunities in Health Policy and Sexual and Reproductive Health.
