After very good time with Eimskip I am now looking for a new challenges ... I have been with Eimskip Iceland since 2005 as a Senior Manager for Export Department then in 2013 Export and Import Department were merged together into a new department of Liner Sales until autumn 2017 when it was divided again into Export- and Import Sales. Oh yes changes take place and will continue to do so, but this time I decided to make changes also for myself and seek for opportunities outside Eimskip ;-) BTW; I am very thankful for a good period, almost 20 years at the company. Before 2005 I was MD at Eimskip Faroe Islands (2003 and 2004). Took my MBA 2002-2003 after being with Eimskip Iceland as Key Account Manager in Export Department. Before Eimskip I was Sales Manager at Saemark, subsidiary of Icelandic Group (Icelandic Freezing Plants Corporation), selling frozen fish. All together, very familiar with selling seafood products plus very good knowlegde of the export and import phase to and from Iceland. Then on top comes the sales knowlegde and strategy on corporate level. Along with, working with people whether it is my staff, colleagues, partners or customers.
