I've worked as a lifeguard for the City of Morgan Hill since April this year. As a lifeguard it is my duty to ensure the safety of all patrons that enter the facilities I work at. My responsibilities include monitoring all pool activities and ensuring a safe environment for all patrons, enforcing pool rules and regulations to maintain order and to prevent accidents, provide assistance and respond to emergencies that occur in the facility, including drownings and other injuries, I also have chores that I complete daily to help upkeep the facilities and make sure the pool is ready and safe for use. As a lifeguard my qualifications include, being an American Red Cross certified lifeguard, CPR/AED certified, CDSS certified mandated reporter, HEADS UP to youth sports coaches: concussion training certified, a strong swimmer and able to perform rescues if necessary, strong observational skills, and good communication and interpersonal skills.

I have an extensive background in babysitting since the age of 13. I have demonstrated proficiency in caring for children ranging from infancy to about 12 years old. I’ve proven my ability to establish and maintain a secure, enjoyable, and nurturing enviroment for the children entrusted to my care. Since I am self employed, I have developed robust communication and interpersonal skills, and excel in networking opportunites. Recognized for my adaptability and quick-thinking, I adeptly devise solutions on the spot and handle emergencies with composure and effectiveness. I pride myself on being able to leverage my expertise gained from years of experience and my commitment to fostering child development in any childcare role.
