- Analyzed flow issues in a blowdown tank line and implemented back-pressure regulator devices to accurately charge KOH and acetic acid, saving time, energy, material, and eliminating a second dehydration stage.- Implemented a mass flow meter to improve raw material charge ratios in a batch reactor, reducing reworking time of the product and saving approximately 40 hours of operating time and approximately $40,000 annually. - Created a steam leak repair log, saving energy costs and improving safety for personnel. - Utilized plant documentation including: P&IDs, batch records, TrendMiner, hazard reporting, and BBS forms.- Presented capital projects and their benefit to senior leadership, including the CEO.
