Hi, I'm Brynn! I help nonfiction authors get from messy manuscript to fantastic final form. As an author myself, I understand how much you want your ideas to be understood exactly as you intend them to be, and your book to represent you as the professional communicator you are. I'm nitpicky to a fault—my goal is that your book contain not a single typo or error. While thorough, I'm efficient and get more done in an hour than many other editors accomplish in five.I began my career in content refinement while a college student at BYU, where I landed an internship with CultureGrams, a "leading reference resource for reliable cultural information on the countries of the world."Over the years I created, edited, and proofread content for:- Websites, both for-profit and non-profit - Articles that were published in Fast Company, Forbes, TIME, Mashable, and TechCrunch- Various books by executives, entrepreneurs, and thought leadersRecently, I was the lead editor for 60 Days to LinkedIn Mastery, which became a Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller. Sure, my husband wrote it, but he'll be the first to admit he's not exactly a stickler for detail and in fact, he wrote, "Without Brynn's editing I don't think the book would have seen the light of day—I would have been too embarrassed to put it out there."I've edited and proofread business books by successful entrepreneurs and executives, both male and female, and am co-editor of the "Why I Love Homeschooling" series, which includes essays from dozens of homeschooling parents.I especially enjoy working with authors who seek to maximize human potential and are trying to make the world a better place. In addition to my interest in editing and proofreading books, I enjoy reading, watercolor painting, travel, yoga, and serving in my community.I've lived in Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, China, and all over the United States. I currently live in Mesa, Arizona with my husband, children, dog, tortoise, and two guinea pigs.

Book AuthorInfluence Press May 2019 - PresentPublished "Why I Love Homeschooling" in July 2020 and "Why I Love Homeschooling Neurodiverse Kids" in August 2021.Under the pen name Daisy Rains, published "Pony, Pony, I Love You" (https://www.amazon.com/Pony-I-Love-You/dp/B086FZKQK6/) and "Kindness Begins With Me" (https://www.amazon.com/Kindness-Begins-Me-Daisy-Rains/dp/B086L1G345/).Praise for "Why I Love Homeschooling":“The great thing about this book is that it gives you an idea of how homeschooling has worked in 24 different families, not just one. If you are considering homeschooling, your ways will be different, but at least you won’t go into it thinking there’s only one right way.” — Peter Gray, Professor at Boston College and author of Free to Learn “As interest in homeschooling soars, this collection of honest, heartfelt essays provides encouragement and inspiration for new homeschooling families—as well as those of us who have been on this educational path for a long time.” —Kerry McDonald, author of Unschooled“Whether you come to homeschool by choice, by accident, or under duress, the combined voices of the families who share their experiences in this volume will be a source of comfort and inspiration to you! Homeschooling may be a bold choice, but it is also a natural one—and well worth the challenges. Welcome to this joyful journey! And rest assured that there are many on this path with you who are ready and willing to lend support.” —Rachel DeMille, TJEd.org“This is the book you can rely on to create a realistic picture of homeschooling for you and your family. Pick up this book for the last bit of bravery you need to make homeschooling the solution for your family.” —Penelope Trunk, blogger, life coach, and author of The Power of Mentors
