Field Application Engineer. I work with internal and external customers to find effective solutions to their challenges. Provide customers with education about how Swissbit products can provide optimal solutions for customers applications. This helps reduce future challenges with applications and helps customers understand overall cost of ownership. I coordinate special projects for customer needs with Business Unit managers to ensure we provide appropriate solutions for all customers. Along with managing all RMA processes and Quality related needs for North America I also perform regression testing on new product introductions.

Responsible for creating and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule of ~3500 lines of tasks. Managed several customer driven programs. Performed supply chain management tasks, managed shipping and receiving deptments along with performing final testing of manufacturing products and processes to ensure quality and customer expectations were continuously maintained.

Performed supply chain management functions as well as Engineering lead for designs, technical analysis and issues. Worked with many groups to implement Green Lean Manufacturing techniques to improve effeciencies and increase cash flow.

Designed, developed and qualified electro-mechanical interfaces for high speed test manufacturing equipment as well as identifying and qualifying subcontractor designs and assemblies. Managed the needs of purchasing and selling both new and used equipment. Worked continuously to improve processes and procedures in all manufacturing areas.

Helped develop specifications and CAD drawings for new manufacturing equipment based on input from the appropriate internal customer group. Supervised and coordinated all equipment installations into a new facility. Worked with internal management and facility subcontractors to ensure new facility controls and HVAC systems were designed and implemented to meet the manufacturing area requirements for both personnel and equipment.

Started while finishing degree at ITT. Set-up all equipment technician maintenance training programs for new technicians. Set up first foreign facility for Micron in Holland, 1988. Promoted to lead technician for test area deptment. Left main Boise facility in 1990 and set up location for SpecTek. Promoted to Manager to develop technical staff for all equipment maintenance. Developed and implemented OSHA Lockout-Tagout program. Continued to develop technical staff from 5 to 25 people. Performed all managerial tasks for equiment support group. In addition: Managed the start up of facility in Nampa 1995. Managed all facility requirements and equipment installations in new facility to ensure minimum downtime and increased efficiencies during and after move.
