Main Functions:Ensured the store is stocked and ready for business every day, as well as providemerchandise loading assistance to our customers with and with out Forklifts.Load and unload trucks, move material from the receiving area throughout the store,operates forklifts and perform critical functions for maintaining proper on-hands andpricing for the customers. Direct customer interaction during business hours with excellent customer service skills.Examined and inspected stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage tosupervisorsFollow all loss prevention policies and proceduresMarks stock items using identification, and stock location based on turnover,environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilitiesStock merchandise onto shelves for customer availability; requires sorting and staging ofmerchandise to sales floorProvide fast, friendly serviceUnload merchandise using designated equipmentUnderstand carrier unload processes for efficient freight managementIdentify and read vendor packing slips, carrier shipping documents, UPC labels and otherreceiving documents and compare them purchase orders to ensure accuracy
