I took the reigns of the Santa Cruz Paddlefest, an iconic event in the paddlesurf community that was last run in 2019, and for 33 years straight. The event involves a surf competition in surf kayaks, waveskis, and SUPs at the Steamer Lane surf break in Santa Cruz, CA, and sometimes an ocean paddlecraft race as well. I'm working hard with some amazing volunteers to bring the event back to life and ensure its future.
