I'm current;y a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing a bachelor's degree in Personal Finance before pursuing my Masters in accounting. Once I obtain both of my degrees, I plan to take the CPA exam before pursing the opportunity to own my own accounting firm.I have worked at Quivey's Grove for 6 years which has allowed me to learn about the ins and outs of the restaurant industry. My experiences have allowed me to broaden my skill set from customer service skills to time management skills while rising through the ranks of the restaurant. My knowledge and experience has even led me to be in charge of training newly hired members for the restaurant. In my short time working for Robert C. Roth CPA SC, I have completed a variety of accounting services from simple data entries all the way to audits. When I first started at Robert C. Roth CPA SC, I was just simply doing tax returns on the weekend for our expansive clientele. Once tax season was over, I was then given more responsibility and put in charge of handling a variety of companies' financials including Frugal Muse Books and Capital Petroleum. I completed a variety of tasks for these two companies including bank reconciliations, daily sales entries, and entered credit card charges. Even though I had only worked at Robert C. Roth CPA SC for a short time, I was given a raise over the summer for all the work I helped complete.
