Raised in a rural family working for many ranchers, I learned the importance of hard work, passion, and perseverance. Those lessons made me the man I am, influence the way I treat my wife, affect my learning, and impact my career. These experiences have afforded me multiple international opportunities and chances for personal and professional development. These experiences took me to Brigham Young University to study civil engineering. As a student at BYU, I enjoyed student life, ASCE involvement, and forming lifelong relationships. My studies and relationships carried me to my career. I am proud to work at HCF Corp based in Sandy, Utah. At HCF, I’ve had wonderful opportunities to learn new skills including: Civil 3D, Storm and Sanitary Analysis, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and the peripheral skills required to use these programs. I often find myself designing infrastructure and solving problems on my own - with support from company seniors when I need it. It has been an exciting time at HCF, and I look forward to many more years.
