• Working as an efficient team with producers, CSRs, brokers, and carriers to assemble, market, and place coverage for clients• Assist producers with selecting the most cost-effective and encompassing insurance coverage for clients• Prepare proposals and necessary applications in coordination with agency team, submit applications to eligible and appropriatecarriers, follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.• Maintain and seek out new relationships with carriers and surplus lines brokers, as well as ensuring that we are meeting premiumgoals per our contracts with select carriers and brokers.• Seek out new business / insured clients to meet agency production goals• Responsible for recruiting new graduates from area high schools and colleges and getting them interested in insurance / Thomas &Farr Agency• Maintain and update files daily in our agency management system, EPIC
