I am currently a second year student at Chandler-Gilbert Community College who hopes to attend Arizona State University for my Bachelors. I am a future Sports marketer, I have a passion for both marketing and sports so why not mix it together and get the best of both worlds. I am personally a avid sports watcher, big hometown fan so Arizona Diamondbacks, Suns, Cardinals all that jazz. They are a core part of my family, we center days to get the family together to watch the game. I personally didn’t think I would be into marketing, until I took a marketing class in high school and really enjoyed it, and then tried a social media marketing class at Chandler-Gilbert Community college and enjoyed it even more. Job Experience-• I started my professional career in sports, My first job experience was as an umpire for a few years. The games are always fun, it was awesome to be around kids who just want to play baseball and enjoy the sport. • Then moving forward was my second experience as a Front Desk at Aqua Tots. It taught me a lot from Customer Service to sales. I worked almost exclusively in sales at Aqua Tots, it was a very fast moving job in the afternoon. I learned how to talk to customers, to make sure you know what your talking about as “you are the expert”. • My current job at Skechers is teaching me the importance of teamwork in the workplace. Countless times I’ve needed help from someone who has come over and helped me move something or help a customer, and just having Communication is vital to the success of a store. Future Plans-I plan to graduate with a marketing degree and Social Media marketing certificate from Chandler- Gilbert Community college. I will then be looking to get my Bachelors at Arizona State University.
