The CSS executive board is responsible for brainstorming, planning, and executing impactful program events. Our aim as a board is to provide scholars with experiences and resources that will set them up for success in their academic, professional, and personal pursuits. As executive board co-chairs, we aim to coordinate and guide each of the four sub-committees (Academic Resources, Professional Development, Scholars Engagement, and Social Outreach) to plan successful and impactful student events.

Often when a new part or product is designed, precise operating conditions are assumed. The real world, however, is messy, random, and chaotic: manufacturing equipment has errors, human operator errors, the weather is never quite how we predict, etc.​By using techniques that combine analytical and numerical design methodologies with prototyping and experimentation. I learned how to parametrize a design, optimize, prototype, and manufacture while examining the ways that uncertainty and randomness show up.+ Design optimization.​+ Design solutions for different design problems, goals, and contexts.+ Exploring alternative design methodologies for a single problem.

As a member of ColorStack, an innovative and diverse team focused on promoting diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness, I actively contributed to creating a more inclusive and equitable environment within the University of Maryland. Through collaborative efforts, we aimed to foster a sense of belonging and celebrate the richness of our multicultural workforce within the technology industry.
