Originally brought in to 'green' a portfolio of high-tech companies in Silicon Valley and Europe, I was quick to see the synergistic opportunities within the various technologies and was consequently commissioned to design and develop environmentally and socially sustainable infrastructure models for cities and corporations. Specialized in integrated energy, water, and waste infrastructure that delivers to regenerative goals. Assembled global project teams of technology experts and presented concepts to governments and sovereign wealth funds. Led the design and negotiations for a clean economy (circular economy) transition for Libya's first democratically elected government. Advocated for sustainable and system based business practices, cutting edge technologies, social entrepreneurship, women owned businesses, and circular economy. The products and teams from these infrastructure projects became the foundation for Yorth Group.

Led the business development and preparation of mid-size businesses for sale or acquisition. Secured financing and conducted company due diligence—prepared recommendations to improve businesses and maximize market valuation. Managed relationships, communications, and negotiation of contracts between buyers and sellers ranging from mid size businesses to international multi-billion dollar corporations in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Developed concept and successfully launched a multi-million dollar eco-friendly and holistic gourmet food wholesale and distribution company with no outside funding. Created a global supply chain of natural products straight from the grower to our doorstep. This effort included an agricultural program in the Midwest U.S. which included 100% holistic and free-range practices. By providing full story of every item, we successfully turned commodity products into specialty items and secured exclusive distribution contracts with large retail chains. An important lesson from this time in my life is the fact that we gave our warehouse workers and drivers a living wage, which was almost twice the market rate at the time. I contribute this to many positive experiences we had besides an incredibly rewarding work environment: we had zero down time, zero mistakes, no returned products, no overtime, and productivity and profitability was well over industry average. Our business grew 10% per month in the fourth year and we had no sales people.We were the first company in the U.S. to successfully bring natural products with full traceability to mainstream market in large quantities.
