I architected and implemented the ShowKit SDK remote gesture control feature. Showkit was a TechCrunch Disrupt NYC 2014 Finalist. Showkit gesture control allows one iOS device to remote control another iOS device. Showkit gesture control interacts with a screen share of the remote device user interface on peer to peer connected devices. I designed and implemented the gesture protocol running on a VOIP server to transfer and interpret gesture instructions.

Designed an iPhone and an iPad app currently in the iTunes App Store. Full lifecycle application development using the iOS SDK, Xcode, Instruments and numerous iOS frameworks and patterns. Custom UIKit controls development, gestures, concurrent development with Grand Central Dispatch (GCD), CoreData and SQLite, C++ STL. CoreAudio and AudioUnit development.

Designed and built prototype musical instrument controllers by attaching force sensitive resistors and other sensors, buttons and potentiometers to open source hardware. Developed embedded C/C++ code to run on the Arduino and more recently the Raspberry Pi platforms. Filtered data from sensors converting the data to MIDI commands for communication with external MIDI devices.
