I grew up in a family of 15 Olympic athletes, surrounded by the incredible legacy of alpine skiing and sailing. That environment shaped me in ways I didn’t fully understand at the time—it sparked a deep love for sports and set me on a path to dedicate 15 years of my life to becoming one of the best Olympic windsurfers in the world.I started skiing at the age of 3 and windsurfing at 5. My uncles always tried to push me into competitive skiing, following my mom’s footsteps as a two-time Olympian. But skiing, for me, was about freedom. I loved exploring the mountains and wasn’t interested in competing. That changed at 11 when my mom encouraged my brothers and me to pick a sport to focus on, saying it would teach us discipline, perseverance, and the value of hard work. I chose windsurfing, and while my first competition didn’t go as planned—I finished dead last—it lit a fire in me. I decided I would never feel that way again.By 13, I was Argentine champion. A year later, I became South American champion and earned a spot at my first Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. At 17, I was ranked the best in Europe and third in the world. By 20, I had qualified my country for the Rio 2016 Olympics, where I was the second youngest in the fleet. After Rio, I earned a scholarship to Universidad de San Andrés (UdeSA), Argentina’s most prestigious university. While studying, I won a gold medal at the Pan American Games in Lima 2019, which felt like the perfect moment to close my competitive career. I then helped my younger brother qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics—an experience that brought my athletic journey full circle. But my story has always been about more than sports. I’ve always felt a deep connection to nature and a responsibility to give back to the planet for everything it’s given me. As a teenager, I started organizing beach cleanups at my sailing club and later expanded those efforts to my hometown.Today, I’m focused on tackling climate change as an entrepreneur. I’m channeling the same passion, grit, and determination that defined my career as an athlete into creating innovative solutions to protect our planet—our ultimate playground.
