I’m currently majoring in Accounting at the Kelley School of Business. I am certain that my perseverance toward making a difference in the lives of others will ensure my success in the business world.During my time at Indiana University, I have been fortunate to grow tremendously at a personal and professional level. Taking various honors courses, working multiple jobs, and serving in leadership positions has developed my ability to effectively handle multiple challenges at once and achieve tangible results in all areas of my life. Developing my ability to take initiative and polishing my time management skills has also allowed me to achieve the status of Founders Scholar for 3 straight years, which is awarded to a small cohort of students able to maintain above a 3.8 cumulative GPA. My success in technology-based classes (surrounding Microsoft Excel and Tableau) has also given me the level of analytical and critical thinking skills needed to be an exceptional employee of an accounting firm, as I have became proficient in areas surrounding financial modeling and data analysis. The leadership positions I have held within my fraternity and the case competitions I have been involved in have also given me invaluable experience in working with others to accomplish a collective goal, which is essential to helping an established company reach new heights of success. After my collegiate life, I am driven to help ensure a company exceeds their goals year-over-year. Within my role, I am eager to make an immediate impact with my leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, and tech-related background.
