Digital Investigation is the leading research journal covering cutting edge developments in digital forensics and incident response from around the globe. As an editorial board member, my role is to guest edit special issues, peer review articles, and contribute to the direction of the journal.

Prior to my editorial board position, I served as a referee board member, providing peer review of academic research.

While serving as an adjunct associate professor at QUT I supervised PhD and professional Doctorate candidates to successful completion, and lectured in QUT’s post graduate computer forensic subject from time to time.

Before helping set up Vincents Forensic Technology into its own entity, I headed up the forensic technology division of Vincents Chartered Accountants. I took operational responsibility of delivery of computer forensic and electronic discovery related services.

As director of Managed Data, which later became Schatz Forensic, I provided computer forensic services as well as systems integration and support services, responding to the needs of a variety of clients.

I spent 4 years researching in the area of digital forensics, focusing on techniques to integrate disparate sets of evidence. I completed my PhD research in 2007.
