Lead Engineer for the Integrated Design and Analysis team within Propulsion. The team is responsible for the full thermal and structural analysis of the first and second stage engines as well the design and analysis of various components across the engine.

Senior engineer owning the conceptual design, analysis, and development of the AeonR 3D Printed Heat Exchanger as well as supporting other various components.- Leading the conceptual design, analysis, and development of the AeonR Helium Heat Exchanger. On the first stage engine this HEX also doubles as our turbine exhaust and also a secondary thrust generator.- Improved the Liquid Oxygen Pump diffuser by re-designing the transfer vanes and the volute to decrease pressure drop using CFD.- Progressed the printed turbine development by running a system level trade, improving the design for printability, and developed a test procedure to qualify for flight.- Implemented a printed shaft into both turbo pumps by decreasing the weight by 50%. This has an overall weight benefit to the vehicle as well as a moment of inertia benefit.- Lead the overall valve design and actuation strategy for all Terran R and Aeon R components as well as rough cut initial sizing.- Utility on various component designs, analysis, issue resolution, and program strategy.

Team lead for all Propulsion Valves, Actuators, and Instrumentation.- Lead a team with 4 direct reports and various other non-direct reporting personnel through the troubleshooting and issue resolutions of components in the Aeon1 and AeonVac qualification campaign.- Did the initial sizing as well as the conceptual trade for the AeonR Main Valve.

Owner of a broad range of Terran 1 fluid systems and Aeon 1 propulsion projects, including: - The design and analysis of all iterations of Aeon 1 fluid systems and the first iterations of Terran 1- RE of all the solenoid valves, the main valves, and instrumentation- Working on propulsion injector failure analyses- The analysis and design of additively manufactured heat exchangers, valves, and manifolds

Designed the non-destructive testing rig to secure the carbon fiber panels of the dragon capsule as well as miscellaneous composite tools for Falcon 9.

UC Riverside Formula SAE

- Designed a valve that had three offset trunnion balls running off one motor and simulated its use for an experimental fuel delivery system in CREO. It was designed to seal up to 750 psi bi-directionally with liquid oxygen and other cryogenic fuels. - Worked with vendors to create custom spring-energized seals and select bearings for cryogenic use. - Created a MATLAB Program that determines the transient total area of the valve by inputting the port diameter, seal diameter, ball diameter, and motor speed. -Designed and built a Fuel Delivery System for a 100 lbf Monopropellant Thruster. This included a load cell to measure fuel consumption, a Coriolis meter, and a turbine meter. - Wrote a MATLAB Program to determine the pressure drop number across each component and the entire system using the CV’s of the components and the friction and bends in the piping. - Supported the testing of a 5 Newton Monopropellant Thruster under vacuum by helping create the testing procedure and running the data logger during hot-fire testing.

- Supported the design of an additively manufactured 22.5 klbf LOX/LH2 open expander engine. - Calculated various flow rates, pressures, and Cv's of the systems after hot-fire testing. - Designed small parts including orifices and fixtures on CREO. - Completed a Kepner-Tregoe Trade Study on a combination of different fuels and engine cycles. - Final project was a concept design on CREO of the 22.5 klbf LOX/LH2 open expander engine converted to a LOX/LCH4 gas generator engine and presenting the challenges and solutions of the design space. - The above task included converting a small gas generator model to fit this engine and redesigning the piping to accommodate the new engine cycle and fuel.

The primary responsibility of the Field Marketing Associate is to work in events, especially retail events and Road-shows, and occasionally to walk through neighborhoods that are deemed to be the correct customer demographic for our business and have many "solar ready" homes. The Field Marketing Associate works under the guidance of the local Residential Sales Associate, Field Marketing Supervisor and Regional Sales Manager. The primary goal of the Field Marketing Associate is to set appointments for our Residential Sales Consultants by qualifying solar ready customers either at the events or after observing the home and roof orientation to determine suitability for solar.
