I have 20+ yrs experience of research, design, development and manufacture of microwave filters, diplexers and passive network components, meeting customer requirements ranging from low volume specialised solutions typical of defence, military and space, through to high volume low cost commercial applications.My skills and knowledge include passive HF, RF and Microwave filter approximation, synthesis, realisation, design and product development in Combline, Coaxial, Lumped Element, Stripline, Suspended Substrate, Helical, Microstrip and various Printed technologies, along with RF and microwave component and multifunction assemblies.I am actively involved with software application and web development supporting and extending the functionality of associated design tools including Microwave Office, CST, and HFSS along with the development and maintenance of both open source and proprietary applications using Microsoft Visual Studio (C / C++ / C# / .NET / VB / VBA / SQL / Python / MATLAB) targeting Windows and Linux.I enjoy collaborating with and actively participating in diverse teams of people from a wide range of disciplines, providing customer focussed solutions to challenging engineering problems.
