I have established experience in the role of superintendent as I have been in this role, primarilyin commercial construction, with Chandos Construction, Synergy Projects Ltd. and ShawRenovations for over 15 years.This role was mainly in the commercial tenant improvement sector with projects ranging from$1M to $10M.My duties ranged for this position included, but was not limited to:● Monitoring the progress and quality of the subtrades onsite.● Ensuring accurate attention to detail was maintained including any change orders as theycame through.● Monitoring safety for the entire site with routine checks and reports.● Ensuring budgets were maintained and reported to the project manager regularly.● Maintaining communication with the project team regularly and the client when required.I have a strong belief that communication is a key component to managing an efficient worksite.I take pride in ensuring that the job is done while balancing quality and tight timelines.I understand that people have different communication styles and I adapt myself accordingly toensure that the message being requested by the client is clear to all parties.
