Engineering is more than the major you studied...Let me explain.Having recently worked for two start up companies, I have learned the importance of needing to be adaptable to complete the task at hand. Whether it's troubleshooting an electrical issue, debugging code, writing an SOP, or creating a BOM for a project, having a wide variety of skills has been paramount during my experience.Consider it as being a jack-of-all-trades. I am constantly trying to improve my current skill set, as well as learning new things. It gives me the ability to help people and solve complex problems, which is a great sense of accomplishment!In my current role, I work with a team of engineers and scientists to implement design improvements for R&D and to enhance the quality and efficiency of their processes. I am motivated by the challenges and opportunities that arise from working in a dynamic and innovative environment, where I can learn from and collaborate with other professionals and experts.
