I provided customers with detailed explanations of various cannabis strains, qualities, and their effects for recreational and medical usage. My store is the only recreational dispensary in Illinois where you can meet with a cannabis guide directly and ask questions just like you would any other store. Being able to meet with customers face to face allows me to personalize customer orders in accordance to their wants and needs. This unique experience allows me to educate my local community on cannabis culture and help break the stigma regarding cannabis altogether. It also allows me to help raise awareness on the social equality issues surrounding legal cannabis here in the United States. I have also moved over 3,000 customer loyalty profiles to a new loyalty program resulting in a 15% increase in repeat customers.

During my time at Starbucks I quickly developed a keen sense of coaching in which I was tasked as a Barista Trainer to educate new incoming hires on coffee culture, company standards, and general workings of the store. I have trained 3 baristas during my time while one was promoted to a Shift Supervisor position.As a barista I delivered prompt customer service while also handling customer complaints and issues. We connect with people from many different backgrounds as it taught us baristas patience and empathy on a communal level.Working at Starbucks has allowed me to pursue my formal education at no cost through their Starbucks College Achievement Program (SCAP) at Arizona State University. I received my Associates of Arts in English Degree with a GPA of 3.8.I have learned so much from my time at Starbucks and have made so many great friends who I still talk to this very day. Starbucks was a great stepping stone for my personal and professional career.

I served as first point of contact for all technical assistance regarding security and access. These matters included CCTV troubleshooting, access key requests, assessing security risks, and conducting reviews of security protocols.I have also assisted in overseeing security for our existing personnel during their transition to a new hospital. Our team helped transfer and secure over $450,000,000 of critical infrastructure and medical equipment.My time in Security Operations has helped me develop a sharp sense of security risk management and it's ever-changing components. It has allowed me to shift my perspective on how I view the world and the vulnerabilites it comes with.

A Hospital Corpsman (HM) in layman's terms is a military medic. Our duties include carrying out patient care in various situations whether they be in a hospital setting or outside the wire. We are trained in advanced medical concepts such as TCCC, hemorrhage control, chest needle decompression, and CPR.As a HM I taught and revised annual training for several medical departments at the hospital. Teaching became intuitive to me and I was tasked as the assistant instructor for several emergency management courses including BLS and TCCC.Although my time spent as an HM was short I gained a breadth of knowledge that I still use on my day to day life. My friends that I have gained during this time are now my lifelong friends, and I am grateful to have been a part of this community.
